Naysha Silva is a Peruvian Curandera from the amazon. Her connection with plant medicine started before she was born. Her mother could not have children so she, like many Peruvians, went to the shamans to find healing after the medical system had failed her. The shamanic treatment was successful and she got pregnant with Naysha.
When Naysha later was working as a lawyer for the Peruvian government, she saw too obvious that in order to change society- the individual must first change from the inside. She felt a calling and quit her job and went into in to the Amazonian jungle. There she remained for several years, learning from the plants and studying with the shamans on how to work with the plants and different healing techniques.
Life then brought her from the jungle to the very north pole of Sweden. There she lived together with the Sami people- the indigenous shamans of the north- sharing and learning from their ways of living for two years, From there she went back to the Amazon once again to continue to learn, The last year she has been in Europe, holding ceremonies and sharing the healing ways of her teachers from the Amazon.
Naysha is the Manager at Taita Inti, a spiritual project that provides different tools to people, in order to help them to OPEN and RECONNECT with theirs HEARTS. She is the producer of “Medicine Woman – The Awakening of Women”, a worldwide documentary project about medicine women, to COLLECT, PRESERVE and SHARE the knowledge and help other women to wake up and find healing. The vision of this project came after a meditation. Naysha saw the importance of creating a project that involves women, that brings women together, in order to help themsleves to reconnect, open, heal and transform their lives. The healing and awakening of Women, that was the clear message.
