Dr. Lori Carrillo founded AZ Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2006 after spending two years with a large practice in Gilbert Arizona. She was born and raised in New Mexico, but became a “native Arizonan” when she became a “sundevil” . She graduated Summa Cum Laude from ASU and then returned to Albuquerque, NM for Medical School. After completing her internship in Obstetrics & Gynecology in Hawaii, the sun of Arizona brought her back to finish her training in downtown Phoenix.
Dr. Carrillo’s patients are always curious about her “personal” life, and it is often we hear her stating that she has been married “all-of-her life”. She actually met her husband on her “high-school graduation trip”, and has been basically married ever since. They had “only” two children because she was a “horrible pregnant person”! She is proud of her roles as wife, mother, daughter, friend and DOCTOR.
Dr. Carrillo is a well-rounded “obstetrician & gynecologist”. She enjoys seeing women of all ages, and extends services to both pregnant and non-pregnant patients. She is a skilled surgeon and is committed to staying current in all aspects of her specialty.
