Dr. Jean Houston – Co-founder of the Human Potential Movement, is a scholar, philosopher and researcher in Human Capacities. She is one of the foremost visionary thinkers of our time. She combines a deep knowledge of history, culture, new science, spirituality and human development in her inter-disciplinary keynote addresses.
Jean is an Advisor to UNICEF in human and cultural development and has worked around the world implementing some of their educational programs. She has been working with the United Nations Development Program training leaders in human and cultural development. Jean holds conferences and seminars with social leaders, educational institutions and business organizations worldwide and worked intensively in 40 cultures and 100 countries.
Her lifetime passion is to encourage the inherent possibilities, visions and capacities that lie within each person and//or group, and translate them into positive action. She says, “Now is the time when we must renew ourselves and live as if we and all of life is sacred, and as if everything we do makes a difference.” Jean is the author of 26 books.
