Yvonne Heath is a registered nurse since 1988. Having experience in both management and “in the trenches”, from obstetrics and emergency to chemotherapy and hospice care, Yvonne offers a unique perspective of our healthcare system.
Disheartened by our death-phobic society, she chose to blaze a new career path at age 50.
Yvonne not only authored her first book, Love Your Life to Death, but also became a passionate speaker, television host, radio guest and workshop facilitator. Her new purpose: to empower compassionate professionals
and communities, so they suffer less when grief arrives.
“While I loved being a nurse, I have always felt I also had another purpose – to help more people than I could reach in my day-to-day work. When we learn to talk about and plan our life and death, something amazing happens. We live more fully. And we suffer less at the end of our lives. And our loved ones suffer less and are able to move through their grief.
Let’s write, talk, laugh, cry and grow together.
Plan your life, plan your death, then just…
Love Your Life to Death.”
