Greta Gerwig is an actor, director, and screenwriter. She began her career primarily focused on acting, particularly in independent films. She hasn’t given up acting but intends to focus on writing and directing. She is the only director in history to have their first three solo feature films nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars.
