Jessica Nabongo is the first Black woman to travel to every country in the world. A Detroit-born Ugandan-American, is a wanderlust, cultural ambassador, travel writer and expert, photographer and entrepreneur, whose work is dedicated to changing the travel narrative and making the travel space more inclusive. At her core, she is a dreamer looking to craft a life and career that interconnects her passions and talents. She also wants to use her story to educate and inspire others to travel and experience the world around them.
Jessica is committed to increasing cultural awareness and encourages people to think positively about other countries and the world at large, so that we do not miss out on opportunities to have amazing experiences with our neighbors. Jessica has been building her digital nomad life since her early twenties. Inspired by her journey, she started three companies to share her love for all things travel. Besides her famous travel blog, The Catch Me If You Can, Jessica successfully launched her boutique travel agency Jet Black and the luxury lifestyle brand and product line, The Catch.
